2012 WCPC: YIM HOLDS BIG LEAD BUT BIG NAMES CHASING

We've reached the final day of the West Coast Poker Championship. Only 13 members of the original 206-player field will be back to play down to an eventual champion later today in Vancouver.

A relative unknown player, Brian Yim, holds the big chip lead heading into final day play but there are some big name players still alive and kicking in this event.

This is a home event for Canadian poker pro Terrence Chan. After collecting 10 WSOP cashes this summer in Vegas, Chan earned 34K CAD in the High Rollers event earlier at the WCPC.

Huy Nguyen is also still alive in the tournament. Nguyen, who won WSOPC Choctaw and The Caesars Poker Classic last season, sent Chan a playful tweet late last night...

Michael Baxter, Alex Cordero, Vineet Phuja and Jean-Philippe Piquette are a few other names to keep an eye on today.
